We are open! Please check our guidelines on changes to our experience here

We are closed Monday & Tuesdays

Welcome back! Come visit us for a dram.

We are excited to welcome you back to The Clydeside Distillery and talk all things whisky! Visit us for a distillery tour & tasting, a browse through our whisky shop or relax and enjoy fantastic whisky flights and doughnuts in our Clydeside Cafe. Whilst we recover from the impact of the pandemic, there are some changes throughout the experience and several guidelines you should follow when visiting us.

How to get here - there are several road closures around Stobcross Road that may affect your journey. Access to the distillery is still open.

Wednesday to Sunday from 11.00 - 17.00. We will be closed every Monday and Tuesday.

Our guided distillery tours will run with a slightly amended capacity. If you have a tour booked or looking to book, please read the specific information here.

You should wear your face mask throughout the tour, apart from when you are seated for the whisky tasting at the end of the tour.

An individual booking will be treated as 1 group - this can be made up of a maximum 3 households. Current guidance (since 23/12/21) stipulates that you should not meet up with more than 3 households and 1m will be observed between all groups.

If tours are running with over 8 people, due to the capacity at the start of the tour, guests will be split into 2 groups to watch the short video.

At several parts of the experience, you will see floor markings, "GUEST", for you to use and you should remain 1m distance from others out-with your household throughout your visit.

The Clydeside Tour will run every hour on the hour from 11.00 to 16.00. The Chocolate & Whisky tour runs at 4.20pm Wednesday-Sunday

Pre booking for distillery tours is recommended as we are operating with reduced capacity and to avoid disappointment for your preferred date and time. Walk in tickets may not be available.

Our cafe will be serving you fantastic whisky flights as well as a selection of doughnuts, supplied by our local partner, Tantrum Doughnuts. Our classic, whisky glazed doughnut will be available for you to try exclusively from our cafe!

We're sorry to say our Taste of Scotland platters, sandwiches, soups and scones will not be available for now.

Pre booking for the cafe is not required. Walk ins only. The café currently runs with table service in accordance with current government guidelines to avoid crowding at the counter (23/12/21).

Our whisky shop is open for you to browse our vast selection of Single Malts. Our Label Your Own range is also still available.

Face masks should be worn at all times within the retail shop. Contactless/card payments are preferred however, cash is still accepted.

Face masks are mandatory throughout the experience. These can only be removed whilst seated when eating or drinking either in the cafe or tasting room. We understand there are exemptions but if you are able to, please wear this throughout your visit to protect the rest of our guests and team.

Enhanced cleaning will be carried out at key touchpoints and our own hand sanitiser will be available for all guests to use throughout the experience.

From the 27th of December 2021, Scottish Government have reintroduced social distancing of 1m from all other households. This applies throughout your visit, in the café, shop or on distillery tours.

We have been awarded with Visit Scotland's "Good to Go". The safety of our guests and our team is the upmost priority where we will adhere to the Scottish government guidelines for hospitality/tourism.

All guests visiting us for a distillery tour or the cafe, will need to Check-in to the venue for Test & Protect. We are using the Scottish Government and NHS app, Check in Scotland. We ask all guests scan the QR code on arrival before entering the shop/cafe area and check out on departing. Our team are on hand if you have any issues or questions about this.

We are currently getting in touch with guests who have gift vouchers to use and how you can redeem this. Furthermore, we appreciate all those who were happy to reschedule their original bookings throughout our temporary closure and are contacting these people to rearrange.

If you have any questions about visiting The Clydeside Distillery, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us, either by email to info@theclydeside.com or give us a call on 0141 212 1401.

We hope to see you soon! Slainte.
