Tide Turns for The Clydeside

Well, friends, it’s been a while. How are you? Could you go a dram?

Sorry for being so quiet these last 16-months, but, like you, we’ve been dealing with the daily realities and challenges of the COVID crisis. Throughout it all, the safety of our team, and visitors, has always been our top priority, but with restrictions beginning to lift, we can’t wait to welcome you all back.

Some things will be different, but other things – our welcome, our distillery tours, our drinks offering, and our commitment to creating Glasgow’s finest single malt, remain unchanged.

While all was quiet at The Clydeside, apart from the rushing of the stills, we’ve been busy behind the scenes; supplying hand sanitiser across the city; partnering up with other local businesses and suppliers, and preparing to welcome the world’s leaders to our doorstep, for the COP26 conference.

Our recovery – slow and sure – mirrors our whisky-making ethos; follow the rules, do the simple things right, and give it time. After all, we want to welcome you back to The Clydeside, and share a dram, in the safest manner possible.

There will be a time for stories, a time to mourn, a time to raise a glass to celebrate those we have loved and lost.

That time is nearing, and we’d be delighted if you shared it with us.

Never has the ancient Gaelic toast, ‘Slainte Mhath’ (good health), felt more appropriate.
